To engage students in practical applications of critical thinking, problem-solving, engineering, and business practices while having fun building and designing big robots.
Our Impact
Mechanically Challenged wants to have an impact on as many students as possible, regardless of their interests, strengths, and weaknesses. Students participating with Team Mechanically Challenged will not just learn about building robots. They will acquire skills in many different areas. The process of building a robot begins with building a team. Students will not only be learning engineering and design principles, but also participating in business plans and budgeting, marketing strategies and fundraising, they also have to write their own safety plan. It takes all kinds of people to run a business, and it takes all kinds of students to have a GREAT robotics team.
